Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive generally has two types: single component and dual component, which can fully fit the panel and touch screen together in a seamless manner. There is no air layer between the display layer and touch layer, which isolates dust and reduces reflection between the display panel and glass.
Advantages of LOCA liquid optical adhesive
Compared with traditional OCA tape, LOCA liquid optical adhesive has special advantages in certain application fields, which can solve some of the limitations faced by OCA tape during use.
Liquid optical adhesive process operation
Taking JOMS 5602 organic silicon liquid optical adhesive as an example:
◆ Mixing ratio A: B=100: 100 (weight ratio)
◆ Mixing and taking a clean plastic container, adding AB components in a predetermined proportion to the stirring container for rapid stirring. During the stirring process, bubbles will be introduced into the colloid. For mass production, it is recommended to use automatic mixing equipment (static mixing method is recommended) in conjunction with automatic glue filling.
◆ Defoaming If manual mixing requires defoaming, it is recommended to immediately remove the bubbles under a vacuum of 10mmHg for no more than 2 minutes after stirring. Otherwise, the viscosity will increase too quickly and cannot be sealed. It is best not to exceed 1/4 of the container volume during defoaming to avoid overflow.
◆ After the dispensing tool is defoamed, use a syringe. If you need glue injection or quantitative glue injection equipment, please contact our marketing department.
◆ The temperature increase during the curing temperature operation will shorten the operation time in detail. Please note! Similarly, in winter, lower temperatures can significantly slow down the curing rate.
◆ Curing condition 90 minutes @ 25 ℃ or 20 mins@80 ℃, heating will accelerate the curing of gel, and the curing time can be shortened by appropriately raising the temperature;How to detect the quality issues of LOCA liquid optical adhesive The liquid optical adhesive should undergo incoming material testing every time it arrives, and can only be produced on the production line if there are no problems. There are four main precautions to be taken during the incoming material testing of liquid optical adhesive:
White and black dots;
2. Damaged and scratched;
3. Dirty hair shavings;
4. Poor size;
Common problems with the use of LOCA liquid optical adhesive
In the dispensing process of liquid optical adhesive bonding, there are several common process problems when using liquid optical adhesive:
1. uneven leveling; 2. Lack of adhesive at the edges and corners; 3. Bubbles; 4. Oil stains or flow marks; 5. Drip glue
